Investigation of Developmental Coordination Disorder Prevalence Children ۷-۹ years old from Mashhad with emphasis on some demographic characteristics

Over the past hundred years, poor motor coordination in children has been considered as an issue. This research is going to determine the level of DCD prevalence among the ۷-۹ aged babies in Mashhad.The method of this research is descriptive and based on population of ۴۳۰۰۰ people. ۳۸۰ people were selected randomly and racemose out of them. Finally ۱۱۵ people were chosen to identify primary disorders after qualitive screening and following the professionals and experts of this study. A primary and identifying questionnaire of DCD students, Persian copy, was used to gather and riddle the data. The Chronbach Alfa factor and descriptive data were used to analyze the inner stability of questions while the Pierson unity coefficient used between the factors.The result shows that the ۳۷.۵% of the participants are affected or susceptible of DCD. This DCD questionnaire includes two parts which are identifying and movement parts. The identifying disorder is detected more in compare with movement disorder in ۷۹.۱% of people. Also the old average of babies infected or susceptible of DCD is ۸.۶+_ ۰.۷۶. The height and weight average are accordingly ۱۲۸.۶۶+_۱۰.۳۲ and ۲۵.۳۶+_۶.۴۲.There was not any relation between the babies parents educational level with the babies’ weight and DCD. But there was a meaningful and strong relation between their weight and DCD. (S=۰.۰۰۰) (r=۰/۷۰). It is essential that schools and families pay special attention to these individuals and appropriate cognitive and sports programs should be set up by specialists, in particular educators in schools and universities, in order to improve children
