چکیده مقاله:

The present study investigated the predictive role of psychological factors in the incidence of sports (skeletal-muscular) injuries of elite male volleyball players. This research was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included all elite male volleyball players in the Premier League of Khorasan Razavi Province in ۱۳۹۹. Sample selection in this study was available in the form of sampling and the researcher selected the required subjects of ۱۵۰ people from the community of elite male volleyball players in the Premier League of Khorasan Razavi Province (regular and professional volleyball players) and due to the nature of the research, information through a questionnaire (Ismaili Sports Injuries (۲۰۱۴), Eysenck (۱۹۷۵) Personality Traits and Competitive Anxiety Inventory (CSAI-۲) (Rainer and Martens (۱۹۹۰)) were collected. In the present study, multiple regression was used to analyze the data and SPSS-۲۲ software was used in all statistical analyzes of this study. The results showed that in the first model, competitive anxiety has the ability to explain sports (musculoskeletal) injuries (P <۰.۰۵). In the second model, when the physical anxiety variable is added to it; Competitive anxiety and physical anxiety variables can explain sports (musculoskeletal) injuries (P <۰.۰۵). In the final model, the factors of competitive anxiety, physical anxiety, self confidence, risk-taking, excitement and aggression have the ability to explain sports (musculoskeletal) injuries (P <۰.۰۵). Therefore, psychological factors play a role in the occurrence of sports (musculoskeletal) injuries of elite male volleyball players.
