چکیده مقاله:

Due to the high energy efficiency of cogeneration systems compared to cycles that have anoutput product, in this study, an absorption chiller is equipped with a rectifier, superheater andexpander, and this power and cooling cogeneration cycle has been studied from energy andeconomic viewpoints to examine the effect of combining power and cooling cycles from aneconomic perspective in addition to terms of energy and exergy. For this purpose, thiscombined cycle is first simulated and then the extensive parametric study and optimizationwith different thermodynamic and economic objective-functions are performed. The resultsshow that to achieve the most optimal cogeneration cycle from the energy and economic pointofviews, the optimal values of the operating parameters of the cycle are very different and thispoint highlights the need for economic analysis of such cogeneration cycles along with energyanalysis. Therefore, the values of the decision parameters of the combined cycle includinggenerator temperature, condenser temperature and mass flow rate ratio to obtain the best cycleperformance from the thermodynamic and economic point of views are calculated andanalyzed. Also the contribution of different components of the combined cycle in the exergydestruction cost rate is calculated and the solutions for better performance of the cogenerationcycle are proposed.
