چکیده مقاله:

Background and objective: Air pollution is one of the biggest problems of today'ssocieties that has different negative effects on various aspects of the environment, humanhealth and other living things that depending on the type of pollutant, duration ofexposure and concentration of pollutants, individual health risks, effects Cumulativepollutants and stressors vary. New epidemic of SARS-CuV-۲ virus with specificsymptoms including fever above ۳۸ ° C, headache, body aches, gastrointestinalsymptoms, sore throat and shortness of breath which caused many people around theworld to develop acute Covid-۱۹ respiratory syndrome, Created many unpleasant health,social and economic consequences for communities and its members. The aim of thisstudy was estimation of consequences of toxic air pollutants on mortality related toCOVID-۱۹.Methods: In this study, first literature was performed with one hundred and sixty-sevenarticles were retrieved based on Elsevier, Springer, Google Scholar, Web of Science andPubMed databases. In final stage the literature signs a notable mortality related toCOVID-۱۹ because of exposure to toxic air pollutants.Results: The results of this study showed that increasing the concentration of pollutantsin the air that humans inhale and the duration of exposure to them, which sometimeshave severe adverse effects on reducing the capacity of the respiratory system and itsproper function will have negative effects on the infection and treatment process ofCOVID-۱۹ disease. The results of this study also showed that air pollution is one of themost important factors in the transmission of coronavirus due to the presence of aerosolsin the respiratory air.Conclusion: According to the results of the study, air pollution has a significant role inthe transmission and prevalence of respiratory diseases such as COVID, SARS, MERSand chronic lung diseases.
