چکیده مقاله:
Dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs) are important substructures present in a wide variety ofbiologically active natural products [۱]. On the other hand, One-pot multicomponentcondensation reactions represent an efficient tool to perform efficient synthesis, because theyallow the assembly of complex molecules with maximum simplicity and brevity [۲]. The use ofnatural gel is generating interest of researchers toward cost-effective, nontoxic, economicviability and eco-friendly green synthesis of nanoparticles [۳]. In this work, ZnMn۲O۴ NPs weresynthesized using tragacanth gum as biotemplate and Metals nitrate as the metal source by thesol-gel method without using any organic chemicals. Henceforth, ZnMn۲O۴ nanoparticles as anefficient catalyst were used for the synthesis of ۳,۴-dihydropyrimidin-۲-ones derivatives viasolvent free multi-component reactions (Scheme ۱). Simple work-up, mild reaction conditions, short reaction times, use of an economically convenient catalyst, and excellent product yields arethe advantageous features of this method. The molecular structure of products has beendetermined by IR, ۱HNMR, and ۱۳CNMR techniques.
