چکیده مقاله:

BackgroundEsophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is the most common histological type of esophageal cancer in the world with high incidence rate and poor prognosis. The competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) hypothesis has been proved important in the molecular biological mechanisms of tumor development.METHODSFirst, GSE۱۶۱۵۳۳ were downloaded from NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO). The R “limma” package was used to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs). CXCL۸, COl۱A۱ and SPP۱ with these conditions (|logFC| > ۲ andadjusted p-value< ۰.۰۵)were taken to the miRWalk۲.۰ and LncBasev.۳ database to find the specific miRNAs and lncRNAs.RESULTSBased on the analysis, GSE۱۶۱۵۳۳ were surprisingly enriched in several biological mechanisms. The candidate hub genes were searched in Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) database to find the pathways which they are participated in separately. Upregulated genes pointed ESCC-related pathways named, ECM- receptor interaction pathway.CONCLUSIONThe ceRNA network has been found between COL۱A۱/has-miR-۴۶۹۰-۵p/MALAT۱. moreover, the presence of COL۱A۱ in this network, reinforces the possibility of COL۱A۱ being a reliable biomarker for diagnostic and prognostic goals.
