چکیده مقاله:

Royal jelly is the result of submandibular gland secretions in the head of young nurse worker bees, which has antibacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-cancer, antiinflammatory, anti-Alzheimer's properties. Due to the increasing resistance of pathogenic bacteria to common antibiotics, it is important to find natural antimicrobial agents as alternative drugs. In this study, the antibacterial effects of royal jelly and ۲۰% oxytetracycline were compared. First, the required royal jelly was collected from the colony horns from the research apiaries of the Islamic Azad University, Kazerun Branch, and diluted in the laboratory. Then, Streptococcus plutonium, the cause of European bee disease, was cultured in a specific medium and exposed to various dilutions of aqueous extracts of royal jelly and oxytetracycline. MIC and MBC samples were determined by disk diffusion test and plate well. The obtained data were analyzed by SAS software. The results showed that although the aqueous extract of Royal Jelly had less antibacterial properties compared to oxytetracycline (p <۰.۰۱), but a significant effect on the rate of inhibition and Killing the bacterium Streptococcus plutonium. Royal blue gel at a concentration of ۰.۹۷ mg / ml was able to eliminate the cause of European onion disease.
