چکیده مقاله:

Biophilia means that man has an innate tendency to seek connection with nature. The term translates to "love of living things" in ancient Greece and was born in Germany by the American psychologist Erich Fromm later to the American biologist Edward O. Wilson used to suggest that humans' tendency to focus and depend on nature and other forms of life is partly genetic. The basic principle of biophilia is the human connection with nature and thus the improvement of well-being. Paying attention to treatment spaces, especially dental clinics, can increase the motivation to attend and pay attention to oral health. Sometimes attending a dentist's office is so frightening and anxiousthat it interferes with the delivery of dental services. On the one hand, this reduces the efficiency of the dentist and, on the other hand, it negatively changes the mental background of people in the community in relation to the treatment environment. Recognizing the increasing and decreasing factors of anxiety can be effective in improving this condition. The purpose of this study was to review the interior design of a dental clinic with a biophilic approach to reduce stress and anxiety of patients and to study this issue with architecture and engineering. And the dentist has tried to provide favorable suggestions in the interior design of dental offices and clinics. The present researchis applied based on the purpose. The results showed that one of the most important parts of community health is oral health. The results of several studies collectively have shown that different effects of nature, such as observing nature through the window, pictures of nature and plants indoors, can have a positive effect on patients' outcomes such as reducing pain, anxiety and depression and their length of hospital stay. Be. According to the results of a similar study on the effect of design in the interior of dental clinics, factors such as communication with nature, privacy, the possibility of meeting and social interactions, light and color have improved the performance of patients. The findings of the present study also show an emphasis on a direct relationship with nature compared to other factors. The biological environment of the treatment and its follow-up improves the patient's health indicators, so in designing a biophilic treatment environment, it should be given priority. As acknowledged in Ulrich's theory of supportive design, the presentation of positive distraction is a key variable in creating healthcare supportive environments. Distraction is thought to help patients cope with pain and other unpleasant experiences, and is often combined with relaxation or pleasant images. And with the dimensions of biophilic design, it is possible to create this positive distraction in the environment.
