چکیده مقاله:

In this paper a method has been proposed to reduce the standing phase angle (SPA) which is one of the most common problems duringrestoration process of power system. Rescheduling method of generation units has been used to prevent problems caused by excessive SPA.Also, the effect of thyristor-controlled series compensator (TCSC) which is one of the series type of flexible alternating current transmissionsystems (FACTS) devices has been investigated on minimizing deviation of active power generated by thermal units effectively. Particle swarmoptimization (PSO) algorithm has been used to satisfy operational constraints and optimize objective function, which is the deviations of realpower. Also, acceptable SPA limit has been added as a new constraint to the optimization problem. Effectiveness of the proposed method hasbeen tested on IEE ۳۹-bus test system and the results are evaluated
