چکیده مقاله:

To supply water for power generation, farm land irrigation, to settlements and industrial facilities it is necessary to take into account particular technical features of water receiving structures to effectively perform water intake from mountain and submountain rivers conditioned by water flows particular properties since large fluvial sediments require new calculation procedures and operation regulations. From possible water intake schemes from mountain and submountain rivers for a well substantiated version descriptions of hydrodynamic phenomena running in hydraulic works have been given and on that basis a mathematical simulation has been developed. On the basis of the developed method lies Eksner-Velikanov equation of deformation. The obtained solutions with an satisfactory accuracy describe bedformation process because of sediments settling and enable determination of sediments boundary accumulation duration. For any water intake scheme from surface water flows a sedimentation basin is foreseen where sediments removal is performed by hydraulic flush method. In this procedure the current passing oversediment rigid particles creates carrying power exceeding the weight of the rigid particle. As a result particles are torn away from the basin floor, flushed up, and thrown to the downstream reach. To create a carrying power acting on a rigid particle and then flushing it away large outflows and length of time is needed. A new technique has been suggested for flushing sedimentation basin chambers enabling tearing away from the floor the rigid particles by force and further quick flush. Having been torn away from the floor comparatively small outflows and short flush duration are required. Due to forced tearing away of rigid particles the basin flush takes comparatively short duration providing quick and effective flush by smallamount of water. The new suggested method can provide considerable economic benefits
