MATHEMATICAL SIMULATION OF FLUSHING AWAY OF SILT ACCUMULATED IN UPSTREAM REACH OF DAMS

Few data are available on flush phenomenon of accumulated silt in upstream reach of water intake works erected on mountain rivers as well as on mathematical simulation of the phenomenon. In the present paper on the basis of natural investigations analysis using a number of hypotheses analytic description of flushing phenomenon has been developed. A differential equation has been derived for calculation of flush period settingrelationship of time and bed, flow and hydrauworks parameters
