چکیده مقاله:

Sustainable development is a new concept in the world and the first subject of sustainability is environmental sustainability. It should be enriching the quality of life for this and future generations. This term is a clear goal of sustainability. Thus, in this research, the four elements of society, economic, hydrology and environment criteria have been considered by concept of sustainable development. Then, the most important indicators of water resources sustainability are introduced and Saaty’s analytical hierarchy process (AHP) theory is applied here to solve the multi criteriadecision making (MCDM) and to identify the alternatives using the highest expected utility value. Results of sustainability ranking for catchment area Atrak, Gorganrood, Gharaso, Neka and Gulf of Gorgan are shown that for equal waiting of first criteria, Gorganrood with waiting of 0.24 is the most sustainable watershed and NekaRood with 0.23 is the second one, Khalige - Gorgan with 0.19 is the third one, Atrak with 0.18 is the forth one and Gharasoo with 0.16 is the last one. For sensitivity analysis each criteria is calculated separately
