Existence and characte rization of HO۳-CH۳OH Com plex: A computati onal study

Hydrogen bonding is the strongest nonco valent intermolecular interaction and governs many chemical and biological pro cesses in na ture [۱-۲]. In this paper, results of the theoretical investigations of hydrogen b onding com plexes pairi ng CH۳OH and HO۳ moieties have been reported.The existence of the hydroge n trioxy ra dical (HOO O) has several importa nt implicatio ns in atmospheric chem istry. For example, it m ay act as an intermedi ate in key chemical rea ctions in the atmosphere [۳].
