Environmental sustainability depends on how resources, mines and technology are used. In today's age of crisis and environmental pollution, we must be able to keep the world free from destruction and away from any destructive pollutants. Concrete has a special place in the construction industry; Due to the use of cement, which is the main constituent of concrete, and creates a lot of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, we must consciously take steps to help preserve the environment and sustainable development, and about how to use green concrete. Solutions are proposed, which are environmentally friendly and environmentally friendly. The purpose of writing this article is sustainable development and environmental protection in line with macro concepts in green concrete technology.This review paper provides a comprehensive discussion upon the utilization of the reviewed materials, as well as the challenges and the knowledge gaps in producing green and sustainable concrete.The method of this research is descriptive review which has been used to collect information from library study methods and reputable sites.From the research findings, it can be seen that concrete is one of the most widely used building materials, the construction of which has many harmful effects on the environment. Concrete has the potential to carry out research activities to increase environmental compatibility. Among the activities that can reduce the production of pollutants while maintaining resistance, reducing the consumption of cement is the use of alternative materials and saving water consumption, which are the most important factors to increase the compatibility of concrete with the environment.
