In general, diabetes is one of the factors that causes damage to the blood vessels of the retina. Retinopathy is a disorder that causes damage to the retina of the eye. Retinopathies, depending on the severity, can cause blurred vision to cause blindness. Today, mathematical modeling for the teaching, research, forecasting, control and evaluation of medical science equipment has expanded. In the meantime, correct mathematical modeling of diseases, in addition to drawing how diseases work, is also useful for researchers in providing new ways to treat diseases. The tendency towards modeling, including mathematical models in all sciences, including medical sciences, due to its low cost and safety, has made good progress in providing contexts and time suggestions for diseases. For this purpose, the main purpose of this study is to model diabetes control with the help of Kalman filter. The results show that estimating the parameters of the insulin-glucose model with the Kalman filter is a suitable method with a low error rate in estimating insulin and blood glucose concentrations. The calculated MSE was ۰.۰۰۰۱ for blood glucose and ۰.۴۳۳۵ for blood insulin concentration and ۱.۶۱۲ for the effect of active insulin in the blood. The mean error for this estimate was ۰.۶۸.
