چکیده مقاله:

Water scarcity and its reduction is one of the biggest human problems today. This issue is more tangible and understandable in countries in hot and dry regions. In any irrigation method, whether modern or traditional, the timing of farm irrigation is of particular importance. Many crops do not grow well due to lack of irrigation or over-irrigation and their yield is reduced.The main reason for this problem is the reduction of soil moisture and the lack of timely water to the crop. One of the most effective steps to deal with this problem is to consume water in a timely manner. One of the methods that is important in increasing the efficiency of water consumption in the irrigation sector is the use of intelligent on-farm irrigation systems that accurately measure farm soil moisture and weather conditions.IoT-based intelligent irrigation management systems can help achieve optimal water use and accurate agriculture. In this article, the intelligent irrigation system is introduced and the role of new technologies (Internet of Things) in it is examined.
