System Biology Approach for Drug Repositioning Against Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson’s disease (PD) affects about ۱% and ۵% of the population over the ages of ۶۰ and ۸۵, respectively. However, so far, no efficient treatment is for this disease, and current therapies are just for modulation some symptoms as the cause of PD is generally unknown (Rakshit, Chatterjee, & Roy, ۲۰۱۵). In such circumstances, network-based bioinformatics achievements can help not only to clarify the molecular mechanism of PD but also to find new potential therapeutic strategies.
