چکیده مقاله:

Objective: What happens to mothers during labor and delivery has a significant role in determining mothers' delivery experiences. This review study examines the positive and negative Birth related factors affecting labor experiencesMethods: Search conducted using keywords “childbirth experience”, “related factors”, “obstetric” and “prenatal” in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and Science Direct databases. We reviewed ۱۹ studies.Results: Positive factors are training classes and preparation for delivery, comprehensive screening during pregnancy, identifying fears and concerns And their elimination, vaginal and/or physiological delivery, interventions according to indications, effective analgesia, short duration of the first and second phases of labor, reduction of perceived pain in labor and delivery, Older gestational age, and negative factors are high-risk behaviors before and during pregnancy, unnecessary interventions such as complete bed rest from admission, forced fasting, repeated vaginal examinations, Routine episiotomy, termination of Pregnancy at an early stages without indication, emergency cesarean section, prolonged phase of labor and delivery, instrumental delivery, perineal rupture, high levels of stress in the third trimester of pregnancy.Conclusion: Since maternity experiences determine the future of pregnancy, identifying these factors and solving the problems in them are very important.
