ELECTRONIC CITY CHALLENGE

Noticeable expansion of information technologies and communications and the Internet on the one hand, and need of urban management to new ideas in managing cities and also citizens’ participation on the other hand has focused the attention of managers to electronic city. Now electronic cities in the world are rapidly developing and has created many opportunities for all the people in their daily affairs. Electronic cities has paved the way for the entry of people into a new era of technology; and although there isn’t enough background in this field at the current moment, it should be accepted that younger generation believe it and with new tools of information technology and communication will go through a new direction. So it’s better to consider several aspects of this phenomenon from different viewpoints and provide necessary provisions for its admission within the framework of national norms among the people.
