A Survey: Secure Routing Challenges In MANET

A Mobile Ad-hoc Network is a network of mobile devices with dynamic structure. MANET is a self-configuring network thus the network’s wireless topology may change rapidly and unpredictably. The biggest challenge in this kind of networks is to find a path between the source and destination. There are different routing protocol to find shortest path. MANETs is vulnerable to various kinds of security attacks like worm hole, black hole, rushing attack etc. In this paper we studied mobile ad-hoc network and its characteristics, challenges, routing, security goals and different types of security attacks at different layers.
