Modeling of Breast Cancer Using Neural Network and Neuro-Fuzzy Network

Predictive data mining possesses great potentials for extraction of latent information or hidden patterns and relationships in medical data sets. These patterns might be applied for prediction and diagnosis of some important diseases such as hepatitis, diabetes, and cancers. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women worldwide and the fifth most common cause of woman death in Iran. An early and accurate clinical diagnosis can raises the survival rate of women hit by breast cancer. However, data mining techniques can provide early diagnosis of breast cancer with high accuracy via noninvasive methods.
