چکیده مقاله:

Corona pandemic disease disrupted the regular attendance classes of medical and paramedical schools and caused faculty members and students to use different platforms to communicate and learn the curriculum. Technology-based learning and teaching are accepted as a useful teaching tool in the medical and paramedical disciplines. The study of learning in situations such as epidemics is significant. This study aimed to review articles that assess various aspects of medical learning and education during the prevalence of COVID-19.Methods: Articles were searched in PubMed, Scopus, web of science, google scholar databases. There were no restrictions on language or year of publication. Two authors screened the articles according to the inclusion criteria and extracted the data, and two other authors coded the findings. The Essential Skills Assessment Program (CASP) checklist was used to assess qualitative studies' quality. Results: The strategy written in the databases led to the discovery of 20 articles, which were reviewed after reviewing the titles of 11 articles, and after reviewing the full text of the articles, three other articles were removed from the review, and six articles were reviewed. Articles, articles with a quality score of more than five were reviewed. The review showed that the quality of content, technical specifications were low, and other challenges of fear of technology, lack of experience in online education, time management were mentioned. However, three aspects of e-learning are satisfied: product utility, cost-effectiveness, and learner satisfaction. Conclusion: Innovations in e-learning technologies lead to a revolution in education and allow for individual learning (adaptive learning) and learners' interactions with others (participatory learning) and change the teacher's role. The result showed that online education is a complementary method to the traditional method and not just an alternative method. The challenges should be addressed and addressed to increase satisfaction with e-learning and learning.
