چکیده مقاله:
The model of transit-oriented development (TOD) & transit-oriented Communities (TOC) with a focus on public transportation has been provided based on the location and facilities of the urban environment supported by a transport system. Saving time, reducing traffic, air pollution and fuel consumption are the advantages of implementing TOD. Railway organization or other traffic institute published a method to have Shahr-e Rey subway station as a combined station with railway station of Rey but as we have a dense Traffic zone here with time consuming traffic jams. It is urgent to analyze before the establishment of this new railway station Base on their standards I’s not financially and technically logical to have a dense zone because of several combined traffic centers with limited feeding path, by analyzing different feeders in the center, we analyze by a 20 % increase of movement in all access paths, traffic to the center of zone how traffic density changes. In this paper simulation prove there are other financially efficient ways to have this combination of Subway and railway station with less financial and traffic disadvantages. The new chosen zone can make a special railway path combines with a 1st and a 6th lane of Tehran metro system of in 3 different paths though, is effective on nearby area also can balance load in line southern side of lane one mostly in rush hours.
