بررسی ترکیب پذیری لاین های زودرس ذرت در مرحله زود آزمودنی

The early maturing hybrids of maize are necessary to develop grain corn planted areas in temperate regions. Selection of the suitable lines is important for producing these hybrids. In order to evaluate of 41 lines (in S3 generation), obtained hybrids from crossing between S3 lines and two tester lines (K1263/1 and K1264/5-1) compared together (82 hybrids) and with KSC260 (Fajr) and KSC400 (Dehghan) hybrids as Control. The experiment was conducted as two separate experiments, in Torogh agricultural research station at 2010. The experimental design was randomized complete block design (RCBD) with two replications. Results showed that the whole of evaluated characteristics were affected by hybrids. Grain yield and maturity period ranges are equal 10.345-16.405 ton/ha and 118.0-134.5 days, respectively. In based on grain yield and some characteristics of hybrids, ten lines were selected. The average of grain yield due to crossing between those lines and two tester lines were the best (14.070-15.361 ton/ha). The selected lines will be used to continue breeding rate (selfing and beginning compares) next years.
