Increasing in salinity tolerance threshold of a crop is a important trait to inhibition of vield reduction in saline land. One a with higher salinity tolerance. The objective of this plan 'Was the screening of salt tolerance cultivars. By this plan 264 triticale lines and cultivar received by CIMMYT evaluated at laboratory and controlled environment to seed germination test and salinity response of seeding and field experiment to comparison mean grain yield of cultivars under salinity conditions. Lines and cuiltivars were cultivated in two lines by 2.5 m length and 20 cm inter row. To germi'nation test 30 health seed was considered. The result showed that there were wide l'ariation among cultivars and lines upon to grain yield in field and Na+, K+ percen~age and K%a+ ratio in shoot at greenhouse conditions. The most and least grain yield was related to line no. 255 (680 g.m-2) and line no. 123 (35 g.m.2) respeCtively. Salinity tolerance threshold in triticale was 13.04 ds.m.1 at germination stdge. Each unit increase in salinity above threshold reduced seed germination by 2.17%. Maximum and minimum germination percent was related to lines no. n, 48 and 51 and 173, 249 and 251 respectively. It seems that the results of this research can be applied. To recognize salt tolerance lines, lines grouping under salinity and the use of tolerance lines for PRWY tests.
