Management of breeding program of fiJld crops on the basis of plant botanies, differents can be used.Guidance of studied materials in each program via objectives and nesessary possibilities will be programable and perfonnable According Ito the determined compo1und of circulation of gennplasm in breeding pr.ogram of irrigated barley through out country this research was done with 2 experiments. First experiment:It was priliminary yield trial and 99 number of new barley lines/varieties were prepared and selnt for mentioned stations and they prefonned there. , Each treanrlent in each sation was planied in 6 rows with Sm length and 1.2m wide, so planted area was 6 m2. 4 barley check varities such as Makuee, EBYT 79-10, CB 74- 2 and progressive check of station which were rep,ea,t,ed after five studieds barley treatments respectively.After .harvesting of crop and weighing the grain yield, recorded data duringl cropping season were sent to karaj, the received deta were analysed and the suitable lines from studied materials for evaluating in advance yield trials of next year were selected. Second experiment was evaluation of barley observation nursery that 218 barley lind/varieties were evaluated in this experiment which were obtained from pure I plots of last year and selected materials from international experiments.In this experiment each treatment was planted in 6 rows with 3m length on two fuwow . So the plantedl.area .was 3.6m2.this experiment was planted In three station ioduding Ardabil, Mlandoab and Jolgeh /Rogh.4 barley check varieties which were mentined in first experiment were also used in this experiment and each of them was rep~eated after of 10 studied barley lines/ varieties respectively. Totally 244 lines/ varieties of barley J,ere evaluated in this experim~nt.After harvesting of grain and weighing them, the recorded data during crofPseason, were analyked, so the suitable lines! varieties of barley for contributions in barley prilifuinary regional yield trial of:next year were selected. Finally from the barley priliminary yield trial 36 lines which had high yield potential related to check varieties! and good agronomic characters for contributions to advanced barley yield trials in cold region of country were I . selected. AlSo between studied varietiesY lines of barley observation nursery 99 lines! vari~ties with high yield poteJtial related to check and with good agronomic characters for contribution to regional barley priliminary yield trial of next year were selected
