ABSTRACT In order to select and introduce adapted and high-yielding barley varieties suitable to warm regions, regional yield trials were carried out by using RCBD Design with 20 barley lines with Ize check (genotype-no 19) in Gachsaran, kohdasht, Moghan and gorgan Stations. These experiments were studied with 4 replications in 3 years (2002-2005). Simple and combined variance analysis in all locations completed separately except Gorgan (because of non received datas). F Max Hartely was used to assess the homogeneity of the errors variance at various location. It showed that the errors variance were homogeneous. So combined analysis have done in all rejoins and years. The results showed that there had significant differences between simple effect of genotype, year, location, interaction effects of year*Location and year*location*genotype at (P<1%). But interaction and effect of year*genotype and location*genotype were non significant. Because of significantly differences of triple effects, stability analiyses had to done. Lines no 12 and 14, in comparing with check were high-yield and had better agronomic characteristics and yield stability in the all regions. in spite of good agronomic characteristics Line 16 could not be recommended to all regions, because it has lower yield stability.
