بررسی اصلاح ژنتیکی گردوی ایرانی بمنظور افزایش تولید کمی و کیفی چوب در استان چهارمحال و بختیاری

Walnut is one of the most important trees in Iran that have many economical values. Persian walnut (juglans regia L.) is a native plant of central Asia, Including Iran plateau. Genetic improvement ofjuglans can help to better uses nom abilities of this species. This research was conducted in Chaharmahal va Bakhtiari province in order to genetic improvement ofjuglans regia for increasing of superior trees planting and walnut forest establishment. This research was performed in two sections including Half-sib and Full-sib progenies. At the first section 52 progeny groups from three regions (Khansar, Karaj and Kerman) were selected. In the other section, GCA and SCA from Full-sib seedlings that were obtained from controled hybrids, were mesaured. The results show that in Half-sib progenies, 4 superior genotypes from Khansar, 6 superior genotypes from Kerman and 2 superior genotypes from Karaj were introuduced. According to general combining abilities, the results were mached and superior parental trees were introuduced. Special combining abilities were mesaured also. According to SCA, the best result of weight, diameter and height of seed was shown to be in crossing of 15 female with 9 male. In height and diameter of seedlings the crossing of 11 female with 1 mate was successful.
