بررسی ارزیابی مناطق مختلف آب و هوایی خراسان

Economically rangelands are important in terms of providing forage for livestock and wildlife as well as conserving soil and water and many other benefits for society. For this reason proper range management is necessary for obtaining these benefits. In this respect, range evaluation project prepared for this purpose and implemented in ten sites in clouding Arekamar, Shahjahan, Sisab, Anbarsara, Tavakalbagh, Asalmeh as representative of semi steppe condition and Zardcastan, Chaharborj, Rigmanzel and Abbarik as steppe condition. Vegetation cover percentage, plant density, plant production and soil, sand and plant resident percentage were measured during 10 years. In each site 60 quadrates of 2 m2 were used along four transects with 100 meter long. Result showed vegetation cover between 13 to 70 percentage. Vegetation production obtained between 199 kg/ha in steppe and 654 kg/ha in semi steppe rangelands. Factors such as climate condition, soil and amount of range utilization are important in productivity of rangelands.
