بررسی عمق کاشت بذر بلوط ‭Quercus macrantherta ‬ارسباران

Study on Oak & seed depth cultivating in Arasbaran forests. In order to determine the best suitable seed depth for oak (Quercus macranthera) cultivating, A research was conducted in research forest station of Arasbaran areae from 1997- 2001. The experimental design was factorially based randomized complete block with 4 replications. The major foctor was seed depths and the minor was soil types. Treatments were six seed depths (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, and 12.5 centimeters) and three soil types (natural forest soil, forest soil + 25% animal manure and forest Soil + 50% animal manure). The required seed was collected from Arasbaran forests in 1997 then healthy seeds were isolated and after providing the experimental field (in the ends of antumn) the seeds were planted. The combained variance analysis of data did not indicated any significant differences between years, but the differences between both seed depth and soil types were significant in 1% and 5% respectively. Comparing of averages showed that there was meaning differences between o seed depth and other depths. The amount of emerged seeds in o depth was 22.42 % while the most emerged seeds was obserred in 7.5 Cm depth (90.44 %) and for other treatments emerged seeds were 87.45 % for 2.5 Cm and 88.54 % for Cm. Comparison of soil types showed that common forest soild with & 79.15 % seed emergence is better than other soil types. In general the results obtained from variance analysis of data showd that 3.5, 5 and 7.5 seed depth and common forest soil treatment is suitable for planting of oak seed in Arasbaran common areas, without needing to add animal manure.
