Problems Faced with Well Testing Analysis of an Iranian Southern Gas Condensate Reservoir

Gas condensate reservoirs have grown in importance since the 1930s.Their development for optimum recovery requires engineering and operating methods significantly different from crude oil and dry gas reservoirs. Beside core sampling and well logging, well test analysis is one of the most powerful and accurate methods to acquire gas condensate reservoir and well parameters. For the analysis of well test in gas condensate reservoirs, according to the gas/condensate ratio, different regions have to be considered. This paper represents challenges faced in well test analysis in one of an Iranian Gas Condensate field with its different reservoirs.
