Today, vehicles are increasingly equipped with PM synchronous motors. Among the highlights are the brushless DC motors, which are considered to be a sustainable option in large industries due to the nature of their sensor-free operation. The Fractional-Order Proportional– Integral– Derivative – Dynamic Matrix Control (FOPID-DMC) controller is one of feedback control algorithms used for control of PMBLDC motor. In this paper, using genetic algorithms, coefficients of FOPID and the cost function of DMC are optimized. The performance of the proposed method in comparison with normal DMC, in terms of control signal, and output tracking performance is better.
