چکیده مقاله:

In this paper, vibration of four spur gears with different modules and tip diameters in three modes of profile modification without and with linear and parabolic modification are compared. The optimization method considers different regimes, in which the objective function can be the static transmission error. The procedure finds the optimal profile modification that reduces the vibrations over a wide range of operating conditions. A new method for finding the enveloping profiles for a generic tool is proposed. A minimum number of parameters needed to describe the profile in the presence of tip and root reliefs are used. A reference structured grid is defined on the tooth, then refinement criteria are applied to obtain accurate solutions in terms of tooth deflection, contact pressure and fillet stress. Combining several analyses within a mesh cycle, information about the Static Transmission Error (STE) is provided. The whole procedure has been implemented in a software called helical pair . In this paper, by using the helical pair software, the STE changes graph was plotted based on the dimensionless time variations and the results of the peak to peak static transmission error (FPPS) calculated. By comparison FPPS of four case studies in three modes without, linear and parabolic modification. It was observed that in each case study, the lowest vibrations were related to the linear modes and after that to the parabolic mode and finally without the indentation correction.
