Family Physician Program and Its Impact on Health Economics: A Review Study

In this study, family physician program and its impact on health economics is been studied. Twoimportant parts of the costs and project impact on health indicators, previous studies and researches wereexamined. Generally, after some years of the project conduction, rural family physician program has hads relatively good function, but the reference system is not truly implemented yet. In some indexes such astotal costs and drug consumption mean, improvements have been observed but there is a long way to thedesirable condition. It is suggested for researchers to examine cost savings, drug consumption dose, thepayment of the design employees and other aspects related to health economics in further studies.
