Multi-core processors are becoming more and more popular in embedded and real-time systems. Furthermore, energy consumption has been always an important issue in embedded multicore processors and there have been many researches on energy-aware scheduling of task on multicore processors. The task scheduling problem in multicore systems is an NP-complete problem. In this paper, we propose an energy-aware tasks scheduling approach based on a genetic algorithm for static scheduling. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithms achieves to more energy efficient scheduling for multicore platforms.
