چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim : The term in vitro maturation (IVM) represents maturation of immature oocytes inthe culture medium, following their recovery from follicles. In IVF treatment, some women respond tostimulation but have insufficient growing follicles. The number of follicles appears normal; neverthelesstheir size is less than 12 mm in diameter on day 15 of the stimulation cycle. These women look resistant toovarian stimulation and need continued stimulation and higher doses of gonadotropins. They besides havehigher chance of cycle cancellation. Methods : We reported 7 cases of patients with a good ovarian reserve who showed insufficient responseto gonadotropin stimulation and due to arrested cycle the conventional ivf protocol change to In vitromaturationResults : In this report, we present a case series of 7 women that following their inefficient response tohigh doses of exogenous gonadotropins during an IVF treatment regimen; the cycles changed to in vitromaturation and we reported 2 ongoing pregnancies. Conclusion : For women suffering follicular resistance to gonadotropin, IVM can be good managementand cycles can be rescued from cancellation with acceptable clinical results by using this protocol.
