In HIV/AIDS patient with decresion of immunity, occurence of opportunistic infection is mandatory . we introduced a patient with HIV/AIDS that interruped his antiretroviral drug cause of intolerance and then referred to the hospital with oral trash and odynophagia. : Case presentationA 25-year-old man suffering odynophagia was admitted to hospital. the patient has been hemophilic case since birth .His viral marker such as HIV Ab and HCV Ab had been positive after 5 years due to the transfusion of imported factor. The antiretroviral drugs with CD4=170 was started for the patient but he interrupted the antiretroviral drug cause of intolerance. After 6 months, his oral trash was cured with fluconazole. Finally ,the patient recurrently referred to the hospital with oral trash and odynophagia(figure A) but the prescription of fluconazole and then itraconazole were not effective. Amphotericin B was used for a week and the patient was gradually cured (figure B). At this time the CD4 was 70. According to the reason; the patient was encouraged to start and continue the antiretroviral drugsDiscussion : The antiretroviral drugs in HIV/AIDS patient must be continued permanently for prevention of opportunistic infection According to the reason; the patient was encouraged to start and continue the antiretroviral drugs.
