Detection of environmental detergent contamination in some rivers of Meshkinshahr, Ardabil province

Meshkinshahr city in northwestern Iran, 839 km from Tehran 85, Ardabil city with a total area of 3825 square kilometers, is the largest city of Ardabil province. The city has three towns named Meshkinshahr, Lahrood and Razi, and four districts namely Markazi, Arshaq, Meshkinshargh, Moradloo, 12 districts and a total of 404 villages. Aquatic ecosystems are major recipients of large quantities of pollutants resulting from industrial, agricultural and urban activities. Aquatic ecosystems are capable of eliminating the burden of different input pollutants but when the amounts of these pollutants exceed the level of water absorption capacity, the recipient may arrive. The process of self-purification disrupts it, which will have short-term and long-term effects. Among different contaminants, detergents and agricultural pesticides are very important due to their high consumption and can pose many hazards to aquatic organisms. In this study, 7 stations were identified. The method of measurement of ethyl alcohol benzene sulfate detergent (LAS) (APHA 2005 standard references) was measured according to ISO 17025. Sampling was done in September 2011. The highest LAS values were for Station 1 and the lowest LAS values for Station 6 were 0.552 0 0.21 mg / l. At station 6, LAS 0203 / / 0.104 mg / L was able to be administered. The mean negative LAS concentration in this vector was 0.225 ± 0.075 mg / L oscillation range from at least 0.104 0 0.23 at Qaderlotta station to max. Detergents exert their toxic effects through chemical or physical reactions, reducing surface tension and reducing oxygen transport and causing symptoms of suffocation in fish.
