چکیده مقاله:
Background and Aim : The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness intensive short term dynamic psychotherapy the emotion regulation capacity in patients with drug.Methods : The research method was semi-experimental with pre-test, post-test and control group design. The population of the study consisted all patients with disorder in use of drug, Baharestan-Rabat city who were present drug addiction camps in 1397. Sample size According to the design of the study, 30 people selected by voluntary sampling method and finally they were randomly assigned into two groups of 15 experimental and control groups. The experimental group received treatment for 2 months in 10 sessions. Both groups responded to the emotion regulation questionnaire (Graz and Roemer, 2004) in two stages of pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed by covariance test.Results : The results of the research showed that In the post-test, there is a significant difference between the components of the lack of acceptance of emotions, lack of emotional awareness, low access to emotional regulation strategies, and the lack of difficulty of emotional clarity setting of the experimental and control group.Conclusion : According to the findings of the research, it can be concluded that intensive short term dynamic psychotherapy can lead to improved emotional adjustment capacity in patients with disorder in use of drug.
