Review on Anaplasmosis in Iran

Objective: Anaplasmosis outbreak has been reported in most parts of Iran. But there is no comprehensive report on infection of Anaplasma in the country. This study was conducted to assess the approximate contamination in Iran.Methods: In this review, various reports about Anaplasmosis were collected over the past years and the contamination of ruminants such as sheep, goats, cattle and buffalo to this parasite collected to determine approximate Anaplasma infection in Iran.Results: The results showed that most of reported Anaplasma’ species around the world are present in Iran with the highest prevalence in ruminants.Conclusion: Due to the high prevalence of disease, control of carriers of the disease is necessary
