چکیده مقاله:

Objectives: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancer affecting women worldwide. One of the common symptoms in breast cancer is depression and anxiety. A number of woman with breast cancer are using exercise for their mood. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of exercise on depression and anxiety during breast cancer. Methods:we conducted a scoping review to summarize a breadth of evidence on physical activity and depression & anxiety during breast cancer. Using the Mesh(Medical Subject Heading)and Text word(physical activity, breast cancer, depression, anxiety)were identified Keyword and in databases, SID, PubMed, Google scholar using base search strategy, literature search was conducted. Finally, 14 articles were studied from 2010-2018, of which articles were evaluated that were RCT ،descriptive and review study. Results: According to information obtained from studies, evidence in the literature suggests that there is a significant correlation between physical activity and improvement in mood, specifically depression and anxiety. Serotonin and norepinephrine are neurotransmitters which regulate mood and Serotonin levels increase after exercise thus increasing its concentration with a concomitant improvement in mood. Exercise in breast cancers include walking, aerobic, Yoga…. Research has shown that walking is the exercise of choice for most breast cancer patients. Low intensity aerobic exercise such as yoga has been shown to positively affect mood and lower anxiety.Conclusion:Published papers show that physical activity has been shown to improve mental health for people with breast cancer.
