چکیده مقاله:
The present study aimed to investigate the effect of short documentary on Iranian intermediate EFL learners’ descriptive paragraph writing ability. In so doing, 40 intermediate institute learners were selected and were then divided into two groups of 20, an experimental (short documentary) and a control group (topic-based writing task). A pretest of English writing was administered to both groups, then they were taught writing for 5 sessions with different methodologies. A posttest of writing was then administered to both groups. The results of the statistical analysis indicated that the experimental group outperformed the control group on writing test
