Victorian Novels: Time Value, Merge of Imagination and Emotion, Main Characteristic, and Type

The dominating literary genre in the Victorian age was novel which was easy to be read and understood by simple and middle class people because the novels and their authors were mostly belonging to the same middle class. The novel was a kind of mirror which reflected society, so it could be counted as a self-identification by the readers while reading it. Even the setting was so tangible and mainly related to the same cities and familiar environment where the readers lived in. This study would attempt to consider some of the main characteristics of different types of novels of Victorian period.
