A new model for the integration of process planning and the profit maximizing capacitated lot-size problem

The profit maximizing capacitated lot-size problem (PCLSP) is extensively covered in operation management literature. The PCLSP problem concerns with balancing setup costs against inventory costs under a common capacity constraint over a limited time horizon such that total revenues are maximized. In this regrad, integration between process planning and production planning functions is essential to excellent system performance
