In this paper, forced convection heat transfer in an isothermal microchannel filled with air-carbon black aerosol under a magnetic field exposed to slip solid walls is numerically studied. The length and width of channel are L=100mm and h=25mm, respectively which means the length is long enough compared to the width. The investigation has been carried out for the solid volume fraction of 0.001,the Reynolds number of .01, Hartman number of 5 and the Knudsen number between 0.005 and 0.05. The viscosity and thermal conductivity of both the Brinkman and the Maxwell–Garnett model have been compared. To solve the governing equations,the SIMPLE algorithm and a finite volume based method have been used. Results indicated that slip velocity boundary condition, and temperature jump on the wall increase as the Knudsen number increases. Also, the local Nusselt number increasesin the middle section in any Kn as microchannel is under the influence of magnetic field. Further, the rising in Knudsen number causes a decrement in average Nusselt number
