Preparation of ZrO2 Nanopowder by Polymer Gel-Net at Low Temperature

One of the critical factors in advanced ceramic technology is synthesizing the starting powder. The powder plays an important role in determining the property of a finished component. Zirconia (ZrO2), which has the characteristics of high strength and stress-induced phase transformation toughening, has been used to improve the strength of brittle materials. It can be prepared through different methods such as: sol-gel, wet chemical methods, and laser ablation. The main objective of this work is to produce Zirconia nanopowder through gel-net method at low temperature.
