چکیده مقاله:

AbstractThe recent invention of high-power, cost-effective sequencing has provided an evaluation of the genetic structure and the relationship between the species populations. SNPs are useful in studying the genetic diversity of domestic animals and population structure. Inference of population structure from genetic markers is useful in various conditions such as communication and evolutionary studies, subspecies classification, and determination of genetic barriers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the population structure of 3 horse populations in the Middle East region using SNP chip 50K data using Common methods, Principal Component Analysis(PCA) and Discriminant Analysis Principal Component(DAPC). 61 animals from the Middle East region used in this study. In the Principal Component Analysis method, 100% of the variance was explained by the first 60 components and 3 populations were separated. Also, in DAPC analysis to find the optimal number of clusters with the Bayesian information criterion index, K = 3 showed the lowest BIC, and with K = 3, the 3 populations were completely separated.
