چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Health volunteers are people who work without any wage and legal rights and only for the sake of love, humanity and sense of responsibility towards the community, as a link between health authorities and the public. Because health volunteers have an effective role in promoting family awareness and attitudes. They must be aware of the details of this health behavior so that they can emphasize the need for it and even be able to train it. Educational programs need to be evaluated and Kirkpatrick’s Model is a simple and effective model for assessing the health education volunteer s curriculum based on the evaluation of different dimensions.Method: This clinical trial was performed on 110 volunteers in the first six months of 2018 by random cluster sampling. During the 8 sessions, blood pressure and diabetes, blood glucose and blood pressure measurements were studied in volunteers in theory and practice in screening and follow-up screenings. According to the Kirkpatrick model, a standard questionnaire and a checklist of different dimensions of the program including volunteers satisfaction with the training course, learning, performance and effectiveness of the training course were analyzed using SPSS software version 22 and statistical tests. Results: All participants in the study were female and housewife, with an average age of 49.6 - 8.65 years, the majority of whom were married (87.2%) (96), the highest level of education was diploma and diploma (80.9%) (89). at the first level, Kirkpatrick’s model, 63% of the participants (35 people) rated the program as excellent, 48% (12 people) and 16% (4 people) average. In the second and third levels of Kirkpatrick s model, comparison of the mean of pre- test and post-test scores and performance comparison between the two groups showed that the learning and practice of the volunteers in the intervention group significantly increased (P <0.001). In the fourth level of this model, the results of the program showed that the training course was effective (P <0.001).Conclusion: Kirkpatrick’s Model is a comprehensive model that examines the four levels of trained people and the dimensions of the program considering the effectiveness of this model in the present study; it seems that using this model will enable educators and managers to examine the effects of their educational programs in the short and long term. Considering the effectiveness of this model in the present study, it seems that using this model will enable educators and managers to examine the effects of their educational programs in the short and long term. And, if necessary, make the necessary changes to the programs and avoid the waste of time and national capital.
