چکیده مقاله:

Back ground and aim: Aging occurs during each person’s life, which varies from person to other person. The present study were evaluated the protective effects of hypoglycemia and pancreatic, myricitrin antioxidant in the d-galactose induce mouse model.Materials and methods: Seventy-two female adult mice (weighing 30–35 g) were randomly divided into six groups: control, D-galactose(Merck, Germany) 500 mg/kg/d for 45 days (subcutaneously injected), D-galactose+5, D-galactose+10, D-galactose+20 mg/kg/d Myricitrin(AvaChem San Antonio), D-galactose+100 mg/kg/d vitamin E for the last 28 days (by gavage). The fasting blood glucose, insulin level, and insulin-related biomarkers and lipid profile were measured. Results:Diabetes induced by D-galactose increases blood glucose levels (p<0.001) and insulin secretion (p<0.01). Myricitrin and Vitamin E has contributed to a greater increase in insulin secretion and decreased significantly blood glucose levels (p<0.001) Myricitrin 10 and 20 mg / kg has an effect equivalent to Vitamin E in the secretion of insulin.HOMA-IR in the diabetic group has a significant increase (p<0.001) that Myricitrin with the lowest concentration (p<0.05) has reduced resistance to insulin. HOMA-β in the diabetic group has a significant decrease (p<0.01) that on treatment with Myricitrin (p<0.01) and Vitamin E (p<0.001) has increased compared to the diabetic group.D-glucose a significant increase in TG (triglycerides) level, which Myricitrin (p<0.001) and Vitamin E (p<0.05) could reduce TG, but Myricitrin has a better effect on TG than in Vitamin E. Cholesterol has increased in the diabetic group, which Myricitrin and Vitamin E has been able to reduce cholesterol.LDL in the diabetic group has increased, which Myricitrin and Vitamin E has been able to reduce LDL (p<0.05).Conclusion:Myricitrin improves the effects of d-galactose, including blood glucose level, insulin secretion, insulin resistance, and beta cell function.Key words: Aging, D-galactose, Myricitrin
