IntroductionIn recent years, the issue of mental health is one of the main concerns of individuals and organizations responsible for health affairs around the world, and in particular the World Health Organization. The various departments of the treatment are considered as a stressful occupational group, especially the operating room staff Working in an environment full of stress. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the.mental health of the operating room and anesthesiologists of Allameh Bohlool Hospital in Gonabad Material & MethodsThis study was a descriptive-analytic study. The statistical population consisted of all personnel working in Allameh Bhlol Hospital in Gonabad, who was interested in participating in the research and with a minimum of one year of work experience in 1397. Due to the small number of personnel in the operating room, all people were enrolled in the census method. Data were collected using General Health Questionnaire(28GHQ) and demographic information. Data were analyzed by SPSS software and absolute and relative frequency distribution of the groups was determined. Data were analyzed using Chi-square and .t-testResultsOut of 37 personnel, 24 were female and 13 were male. 51.4% of the rooms were operating room technologists and 83.8% were married. The mean age was 30.48 ± 6.43 and the mean work experience was 8.29 ± 6.38. According to the data, the most suspected cases were related to anxiety (54.1%) and then physical symptoms (51.4%). In the dimension of social function, 43.2% and in the depression dimension,18.9% were suspected of being abnormal. According to Pearson correlation coefficient, a significant relationship was found between age and physical symptoms. There was no significant relationship between .GHQ score and other demographic variablesConclusionRegarding the findings of the study, consideration of the mental health of the stuff and the design of a plan to reduce mental health disorders, including the availability of mental counseling services in the .operating room, is essential for job-level support by managers
